Andrew Losowsky is the Head of Coral at Vox Media, an open source community platform that powers the comments on more than 70 websites in 14 countries, including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Der Spiegel. Coral was founded in 2014 as a collaboration between Mozilla, the New York Times, and The Washington Post, to improve online communities around journalism. Losowsky previously ran editorial operations across eight cities for a Spanish startup, co-founded an alternative guidebook series, created a magazine out of a volcanic eruption, and is the author of several books about journalism and publishing. He has been a visiting fellow at the Information Society Project at Yale Law School and a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University. He currently lives in New York.
