Speaker Bio
David Whitesock is a survivor of the disease of addiction, which has been in remission since 2005.
David leads the development and execution of our digital, tech and data strategies. His experience as a web developer drives our work to apply technology to peer-based addiction management services, capture meaningful data and demonstrate addiction wellness and the social impact of our model.
In March 2015, David was named a Bush Foundation Fellow. His fellowship focused on executive leadership development and the intersection of digital health, data science and social impact.
Whitesock is also a veteran broadcaster and journalist, with experience as a talk show host, play-by-play announcer and executive producer. His career in broadcasting ended early, due largely to the progression of addiction. During a life pivot, Whitesock launched a podcasting company in 2005.
Whitesock earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of South Dakota, followed by a joint juris doctorate and master’s degree. David is licensed to practice law in the state of South Dakota.
David is based in Denver, CO.
